Moncton Hydro Jetting
If your drains are suffering from some kind of blockage and snaking is not having any effect, it is time to consider the use of something much more powerful. Moncton hydro jetting is the fastest and most efficient method of unblocking drains, as the high pressure water can make quick work of removing all kinds of blockages, where other more traditional methods of unblocking a pipe have failed.
The Jetting Process
The water pressure leaving the hose is so high that it actually helps to remove all kinds of difficult to shift materials, including grease and dirt, sand and a lot more besides. The Moncton hydro jetting process involves using water at very high pressures in order to shift stubborn and unwanted materials from your sewer pipes. The water pressure used is as high as 3,500 psi, and it is this pressure that helps to scour the inside of the pipe, leaving it clear and free flowing.
The flow rate of the water is around 18 gallons per minute, and the equipment used during the Moncton hydro jetting technique consists of a large tank of clean water, a hose and nozzle which can withstand high pressures, and a pumping machine which helps to generate that 3,500 psi pressure.
All sewer and outlet pipes are angled downwards so water is carried along by the force of gravity. However, the Moncton hydro jetting process forces water in the opposite direction, which helps to shift stubborn debris, which will then exit the pipe downstream with the help of gravity.
The hydro jetting process is a great way to remove blockages that have resisted other methods of clearing such as snaking. Hydro jetting is also a method that is used to help clean pipes before they are lined, due to the fact that any debris in the pipe can cause the epoxy resin lining to become damaged or ineffective.
Other Benefits of Hydro Jetting
Tree roots and mineral deposits can all have a detrimental effect on the functionality of a sewer or outlet pipe, and only the Moncton hydro jetting process is effective enough to clear and remove these types of blockages. If root invasion has been detected then this is a serious problem that may have affected the integrity of the pipe and a more detailed inspection should be carried out, as the pipe may need urgent repair or replacement.
